1. Explore — College gives you time for self-exploration and discovering personal interests, covering both academics and the surrounding environment.

2. Friendships: Despite the common perception that college friendships often tend to fade by the third year, I’ve experienced certain connections does endure.

Certainly, there are fewer meetings but mutual respect and understanding persists.

3. Appreciation: What is stopping people from appreciating each other?

There have been instances where I have genuinely praised a few individuals, who expressed surprise, revealing no one has ever told such good things.

Isn’t it strange how a sincere compliment can make someone pause and think, “Has no one ever said this to me before?”

It’s easy to overlook the everyday things people do for us.

Take a moment today to acknowledge and appreciate someone who contributes to your life in ways you might not always notice.
Words can be really powerful. Just appreciating someone can make a big difference in how they feel. It’s a simple yet powerful thing.

4. Personal Growth Over Competition: It’s always YOU vs YOU. Instead of being jealous of other’s achievements, focus on learning from them, fostering mutual growth, and helping each other on the journey.

5. Slow down: Understanding that life unfolds at its own pace is essential.

While others may seem to have it all figured out, it doesn’t mean you do.

6. Internships & Skill Development — Prioritizing internships, skill development, and networking over solely focusing on college grades is crucial. Even if your GPA occasionally dips, the confidence gained from valuable experiences like internships is far more significant.
